The AKKU COVER Shimano offers optimum protection for the e-bike battery. Made of a high-quality and elastic cellular rubber, the protective cover ensures that the operating temperature is maintained on cool days, such as in winter. This reduces the self-discharge of the battery, which is why a higher range can be achieved with the e-bike.
In addition, the battery is effectively protected from stone chips and damage. If the battery is removed from the carrier, the protective cover serves as transport protection.
Tip: The battery should be stored at room temperature and only inserted into the e-bike shortly before riding.
